Compared to the previous datasets the 2024 Half–Earth dataset is larger in terms of both number of taxa, and number of images, with 2,500,779 images and 64,500 taxa. Webspermae in the AK Herbarium is presented in an annotated checklist of 43 taxa. A systematic search for probable type material in the native plant collections in the Auckland Institute and Museum Herbarium (AK) has revealed many specimens additional to those listed by R. C. Cooper in the Records of the Auckland Institute
