WebNow obviously I know why people ship it, Kovara very much popularised the whole Simba's cub getting shipped with an Outsider thing but the problem with that is that the Simba's Pride writers had to go through so much effort to make sure that Kovu and Kiara weren't related and Kovu literally has to state within the movie that he isn't Scar's son.
