It seems to be working as it should; however, I have not yet load tested it. For what it is worth, I did work in the electronics field for about 30-years. (Wire Nuts and Tape) Replaced the GF breaker. Question: the RV is wired for a generator, however, We do not have a generator on board. Am I okay to leave the Transfer Switch out?

Web10 apr. 2024 · The IOTA ITS-50R looks like a relay based 50amp transfer switch. This LPT50BRD is also a 50 amp relay based transfer switch. As long as it fits your old dimensions, you shouldn't have any issues using this as a replacement. It would depend on how comfortable you feel about messing around with the wiring. WebThe transfer switch made by Iota has been discontinued. Ordered a new switch and have located a local electrician that will install it in the near future. That should take care of the electrical problems --- just scary to think that we were sleeping on top of a potential fire. Thanks to all who replied with helpful info. Remove the phillips head screw located in the center. 3. After removing the phillips head screw, gently bend/twist the "pic frame bezel" from the sides.

Again, it appears that the failure of the ATS occurs when the ambient air temperature is high (like a Texas summer!) and there is a heavy load on the electrical (like two a/c units running).
