Webb25 okt. 2024 · Personally I'm impatient so I just adjust it immediately to get the relief I want, and as it settles in I may tweak again here and there. And it may not have moved since leaving the factory. From what I remember, Suhr's ship with crazy low action and nearly dead straight necks, because it's easier to adjust the action and relief up than down. Webb18 dec. 2016 · You will need a mechanics rule to do this properly. To check neck relief: fret the low E at the first and 15th fret (not 12th) reach to the 7th fret and tap string. There should be a small space between string and fret - no thicker than a piece of paper. Do the same with the high E.
