It would attempt to start, the shaft would do a revolution but immediately stop. I bypassed the controller and the motor worked fine so the issue was with the controller. I decided to try and build my own controller instead of trying to fix or replace the Softub one.

I had issues with my Softub 300 pump which I have resolved.
